Effects of Global Warming

And the effects of rising temperatures aren’t waiting for some far-flung future. They’re happening right now. Signs are appearing all over, and some of them are surprising. The heat is not only melting glaciers and sea ice, it’s also shifting precipitation patterns and setting animals on the move.

Some impacts from increasing temperatures are already happening.

Ice is melting worldwide, especially at the Earth’s poles. This includes mountain glaciers, ice sheets covering West Antarctica and Greenland, and Arctic sea ice.
Researcher Bill Fraser has tracked the decline of the Adélie penguins on Antarctica, where their numbers have fallen from 32,000 breeding pairs to 11,000 in 30 years.
Sea level rise became faster over the last century.
Some butterflies, foxes, and alpine plants have moved farther north or to higher, cooler areas.
Precipitation (rain and snowfall) has increased across the globe, on average.
Spruce bark beetles have boomed in Alaska thanks to 20 years of warm summers. The insects have chewed up 4 million acres of spruce trees.

Administration of crisis and Albania

Let us carefully consider where is standing Albania in the swirl of crisis of developed countries. It is clear that the actual financial crisis is not our crisis. This means that architecture of Albanian banking system and in this case the low level of development of banking system has let Albania divided and passed by crisis. It is more or less a paradox, but in this case backwardness comes out to be an immune element toward problematic of actual crisis of financial markets. In fact it is a difficult situation for the developed countries. Albanian banking system has not the real factors that can escort or mix such a crisis in country. As our country has had a relatively long period of economical growth in high rates (6-7% per year), this has caused the crediting of banking system to be concentrated in functioning of direct crediting of private business in country, as motor element of economical growth of country.

After NATO does not follow miracle

Real estates, tourism, trips are expected to be the sectors that will be positively affected after Albania took the invitation for membership in NATO. Other indirect effects are related to higher level of security that foreign investors will have, what is expected to bring more direct foreign investments. Infrastructure is expected to be improved, in order to adapt to requests of a country, which now will be part of a known international army structure. All these will affect Gross Domestic Product, by influencing its growth, thus for a better welfare for Albanians.There is no doubt that taking this invitation for membership in NATO will affect to change the perception and bad image that foreigners had for Albania, a country that is found in the conflicted Balkan territory. Most of economies of developing countries in Europe have had a high growth rate during the last years, even some of them have achieved growth rates that are behind only some developing countries in Asia. This rapid convergence with other part of Europe is partly encouraged by inflow of capitals and extremely good financial conditions. However, now increase of global financial turbulences and weakening of economical growth, are questioning the stability of convergence rate. Anil Kapoor Gets in the Hot Seat for Slumdog Millionaire

Anil Kapoor was a name known primarily in Indian film circles, and a name that hadn't quite been recognized on this side of the pond. That all changed with his smashing performance as the delightfully dastardly Prem Kumar, the Indian host of Who Wants to be a Millionaire?, in the breathtaking Slumdog Millionaire, which hits the shelves on DVD and Blu-ray on March 31. I had the chance to talk to Kapoor over the phone about his role in this film that took home the Oscar for Best Picture, and here's what he had to say.

I was curious how the film first came to you. I read that they had first offered the role to the original host of the Indian version of Who Want's to Be a Millionaire? and then they went with you. I was just wondering what your first impressions of the script were?

Anil Kapoor: Well, to be honest with you, I did not know that he was offered the role. I was aware when the film was offered to me, that it was being directed by one of the biggest directors in the world, Danny Boyle. I was not really aware of him, but it was my son that made me aware of him.
